Our R&D Environment

Command & Control systems such as those used for Public Safety are about distributed system components participating in coordinated processing, sharing and notification of emergency related information. Such systems are deployed over secure IP LAN, WAN and mobile networks.

The demanding scalability, reliability and performance requirements inherent in those systems impose high-standards on software engineering, network design as well as data storage and retrieval strategies.

They also rely on a diversity of technologies such as those used for telephony and radio communications (TDM & SIP), message-oriented middleware, IM/ Presence, web-based technologies (web services, Ajax), XML technologies, databases. These are the building blocks on which customer-facing applications and service components (SOA) are built, using state of the art IDE and programming languages.

We are looking for dynamic, creative and team-minded individuals that have seasoned expertise to contribute in any of the fields/technologies above. During the next 5 years, the existing emergency services infrastructure will undergo an important redesign; a time of opportunities!
